Description
High court justices, regulators, economists, and business leaders are advocating for the adoption of mediation laws to alleviate the backlog of legal cases in Pakistan, which currently hampers business operations and deters foreign investment. Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed and Justice Jawad Hassan highlighted the limited use of existing mediation laws and stressed the need for increased awareness and promotion of mediation as an alternative to litigation.
