The Institute of Business Administration held its first International Marketing Conference, IBAICM, in 2012. The conference was well-received by a large majority of researchers, with representation from Bangladesh, Germany, Great Britain, Korea, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, and the United States of America. After the overwhelming success of IBAICM 2012, The second International Marketing Conference was held on 3-4th May, 2014. The conference brought together global academicians and marketing practitioners to discuss current and upcoming marketing trends that hold great importance to the 21st century marketers. The theme of the conference was "The Changing Paradigms" that aims to provide a rich blend of theory and practice by providing a platform for the discussion of latest advancement in research and its implications to the marketers.

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) organized the third International Conference on Marketing (IBAICM, 2016) at the campus of the University of Malaya (UM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference sessions and discussion were organized on the theme of “Marketing to the Bottom of the Pyramid in Emerging Markets”. IBAICM aims to develop the marketing landscape in Pakistan by bridging the gap between research and practice.
