Globalization - The Phenomena: Presently the term "Globalization" has gained an emotive tinge. Few believe it as an inevitable and irreversible process that will catapult future world economic development; others discern it with antagonism and fear that it will thwart social progress in the context of developing countries, creating enhanced disparity within and between nations, creating unemployment and poorer living standards.
