Abstract / Description

The topic of the seminar is relatively sensitive and hot in today’s world of post September 11. Its sensitivity results from various misconceptions and beliefs about the issues and their tackling. I believe that interaction and deliberations of the seminar would go a long way in identifying the issues in their true perspective. One of the main objectives of the seminar is to discuss the core issues, which significantly involve financial sector in fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. You all know that, throughout the world, the subject has gained unprecedented attention and application of resources in the recent past. I wish the seminar would come up with practical suggestions for effective tackling of money laundering and terrorist financing.
