Description

Dr Ishrat Husain is the Dean and Director of IBA (Institute of Business Administration), Karachi, the oldest graduate business school of Asia. He was also the 13th Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan from 1999-2005. He joined the Civil Service of Pakistan in 1964 and served in the field of Finance, Planning and Development before moving to Washington in 1979 to join the World Bank as an Economist.
