Description

Dr. Ishrat Husain's fruitful and successful tenure as Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan will, unfortunately, be over. He has definitely been the best State Bank governor we have had in a long time, and arguably the best ever given the enormous problems that he inherited, so it would be a pity to lose him - much more work needs to be done in banking sector reform.
