Amjad Noorani, renowned education reform activist and long-time supporter of The Citizens Foundation (TCF), passed away in California at the age of 75 after battling cancer. For over two decades, he worked tirelessly to promote quality education for all children in Pakistan and co-authored Agents of Change in 2021. Colleagues and friends remembered him as selfless, compassionate, and committed to educational justice. Through his work with TCF, non-profits, and citizen-based advocacy, Noorani inspired countless people to push for reform in Pakistan’s struggling education sector. His legacy lies in his dedication to expanding access to education and motivating others to carry forward the mission he championed until his final days.
