Abstract
In recent times, the biggest challenge faced by the economies of the world is inflation along with economic depression or artificial bubble and currency volatility. These all are interrelated with each other and much dependent upon the monetary system. This research examines the evolution of money since the stone age to the latest digital era and suggests the implementation of Intrinsic Valued Cryptocurrency (IVC) by using blockchain technology in a centralized manner that would be beneficial for the economy on one hand and Shariah compliant from Islamic perspective on the other hand.
