Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to look into the phenomenon of income that is not compliant with Shariah within Islamic banking institutions. Specifically, we will identify and analyze contributing factors, evaluating financial annual reports of last five years’ data of 18 Banks of Pakistan
Design/methodology/approach: This research is based on to collection of data of annual reports of 18 banks including Conventional Islamic windows for the Identification of Shariah Non-compliance income and interviews were taken from Branch Manages from different Banks
Findings: The findings of the study shed light on the variables that lead to the noncompliance of banks with Shariah law and reveal the effect that this noncompliance has on the position of banks.
Research Limitations/Implications: The research seeks to provide valuable insights that contribute to the understanding of Shariah noncompliance in Islamic banking, offering practical recommendations for enhancing industry best practices and ensuring the continued adherence of Islamic financial institutions to ethical and Shariah principles.
