The China Study Centre (CSC), at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, was established on July 1st, 2021. CSC has been set up through undue financial, technical and professional support the of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. The CSC plans to strengthen the people-to-people contact between Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China through exchange programs, joint research projects with Chinese universities, research grants, and cultural events. Through these joint research projects with our Chinese counterparts, the Centre aims to enhance inter-university academic collaboration between China and Pakistan. CSC is established with the sole purpose of nourishing and reinforcing the economic, social, and geopolitical relationship between the two countries. It focuses on myriad research areas with a special focus on the Business, Agricultural and Geopolitical cooperation between Pakistan and China under CPEC.
