The Career Development Center (CDC), IBA Karachi, hosted an insightful session under its Career Pathways Series titled "The CFA Roadmap."

The session featured Nawal Haq, Treasury Lead at TAQA (IBA Class of BSAF 2020 | CFA Charterholder), and Shahmeer Masud Khan, Transaction Advisory at UBL (IBA Class of BSAF 2023 | CFA Charterholder), who shared their journeys from IBA to the finance industry and their experiences of pursuing the CFA Program.

The discussion covered the transition from university to professional life, motivations for pursuing the CFA qualification, the CFA pathway, preparation strategies, balancing work alongside the CFA journey, career opportunities in finance, and key lessons learned. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students engaged directly with the speakers and gained practical guidance for navigating careers in finance.
