Abstract
This research report is comprised of the introduction of natural language processing and computer vision. It mentions why and how the integration of these two modalities is crucial for the progress of artificial intelligence field. This report also talks about the importance of cognitive science for visual linguistic integration. It has detailed analysis of the potential issues and major challenges that can be faced in integration. It brings forward the approaches and applications of merging vision and language and how it is advantageous for humans to automate day to day tasks and enhance user experience. Finally the report includes the future of natural language procession and computer vision integration.
