Abstract / Summary
Gesture based user interfaces are the new emerging user interfaces in the world of HCI. Gestures have evolved in recent times and are now part of routine tasks and gadgets. Since then it has become an important part to facilitate interaction between the gestures and the platform. Various researches have been carried out to determine the factors that impact the interaction of gestures with devices and products. This raises the concern of whether we can determine the usability of gestures and user satisfaction in order to further hone the designing of gesture-based interfaces for better adoption among various users. This paper presents a survey based numerical analysis of the usability, efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction for a gestures-based user interface.
