Executive Summary

The name of the organization will be kept confidential due to the usual company policies and sensitivity towards Sharing data on a public platform. Hence, we will be using the name ABC Ltd. company in place of the company name. Considering the market dynamics and supply chain of the biscuits industry the vehicles that dock for Finished Goods dispatches are used to being of varied sizes and capacities.

This causes enormous challenges in operations while loading the vehicles. Also, the process is completely manual, thus including intensive labor and excessive handling of finished goods cartons, which not only causes operational slowdown but increases cost, damages, and Health & Safety hazard risks. We will be studying the feasibility of installing the dock levelers at the finished goods warehouse for ABC Ltd. to make the dispatch process speedy, safe, efficient, and less labor-intensive. This will help the company better utilize the Finished Goods warehouse storage space which can help in better utilization of production capacities as well as future expansion in production capacities.
