Technical Papers Parallel session-V: Enhanced ontological model for the Islamic Jurisprudence system
Abstract/Description
The uncountable data available on web resources are rapidly growing every second. Millions of searches are made every hour around the globe and retrieving desired information is getting difficult with the ever increasing amount of data present on the internet. The evolution of technology transforming the website architecture from web of documents to web of data (Linking Data) enables integration information intelligently. As Islam is the second most rapidly growing network after the world population in terms of number. Thousands of searches are made about Islam to find authentic information, whereas the result showed millions of web's URL that trouble user and cause confusion. The core objective of this paper is to develop the Islamic Jurisprudence Question Answer ontology to extract unambiguous information easily. In Islam, Jurisprudence (Fatwa) is the solution of people's questions, concerned with people everyday life issues in the light of Quran and Sunnah by the highly skilled group of Scholars. Every Fatwa becomes a model for others to follow or refer whenever they required. The paper presents a new enhanced ontological model which reflects actual domain information and deal its complexity.
