Description

The Pension Scheme has been constituted with effect from let July, 1972 under Statute No.32 assented to by the Chancellor on 29th June, 1973.

The Pension Scheme shall apply to;

• All University servants appointed on probation on or after 1st July, 1972.
• All confirmed University servants who were in service on or before 1st July, 1972 unless they opt for the existing Provident Fund.
• All employees who retired from University service on or after 1st July, 1972, but before the date of publication of Pension Statutes, if they opt for these Statutes.
